From Little Things Big Things Grow

Water Technology is this month celebrating our 15th year since the birth of our little company. Back then it was just our Managing Director Andrew McCowan. 15 years on and we are a company of 50 employees with offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Wangaratta, Bairnsdale, Geelong and the Wimmera. We have steadily grown over the years from a small niche company with specialist skills in coastal and floodplain modelling, to a company that now operates with a broader environmental, coastal and surface water management skill set.

Waterway Engineers

Water Technology welcomes new staff to its team of waterway engineers and celebrates growth over the last 15 years.

We are a company that makes a difference, not only to the clients we work for and the communities they serve, but to our staff. We are an employer of choice. This is reflected in the graphic presented, which charts the growth of the years of service of our current employees. This shows strong staff retention, demonstrating the fact that we value our employees highly and provide a great working environment. It also demonstrates the tremendous level of experience and knowledge that we retain within our company to serve our clients.

Water Technology is pleased to announce the latest growth in our company by welcoming Dr Cintia Dotto, Tom LeCerf and Emily Darlison to the Melbourne team. Cintia comes to us from the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities having completed her PhD at Monash University and being awarded the Eric Laurenson Medal for the most outstanding post graduate in the field of water engineering.

Tom previously worked with Water Technology as a student and has returned after a short hiatus. He is rapidly developing as one of our brightest young engineers.

Emily joins us after completing her engineering degree at Monash, receiving a number of academic awards including the Sir Ronald East Student Prize for her final year project.

Water Technology is excited to welcome these three outstanding people to our team.
