Experienced Floodplain Engineer and gun TUFLOW modeller (3 to 10 years)

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced water engineer with top notch TUFLOW modelling skills, to join a group who operate collaboratively and offer flexible working arrangements. The group specialises in rural surface water and floodplain management, with particular strengths in catchment hydrology, floodplain and wetland hydraulic modelling. We are great at taking technical information and communicating it with our clients, stakeholders and community.

About the role

In this role you will complete flood and drainage investigations, design flood mitigation measures, complete environmental projects aiming to conserve and enhance our wetlands and waterways, all while working closely with other Water Technology groups, our clients and stakeholders.

To be seriously considered for this role you will:

  • have a civil or environmental engineering degree with 3-10 years’ experience
  • experience in hydrology and hydraulic modelling (specifically TUFLOW)
  • be familiar with GIS software

  • be committed to learning new skills and innovating
  • be comfortable presenting and facilitating meetings

Location of the role:

Water Technology has major offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Geelong, Gold Coast, Wangaratta and Bairnsdale, with smaller home offices scattered around Australia.
