We now have an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and motivated engineer or scientist to join our Integrated Stormwater Management (ISwM) Team in our Melbourne or Gippsland office. We’re interested to hear from anyone with a great sense of humour and outstanding communications and time management skills from graduate level through to 8 years’ experience.

The ISwM team specialise in all things concerning management of surface water within our urban environment. This ranges from large scale integrated water management planning to water sensitive urban design, highly detailed urban flood modelling and much more. We love to be at the cutting edge of technology and research too and this is reflected in the high calibre of ground-breaking projects we’re currently undertaking.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Hydrologic & hydraulic modelling
  • Water quality modelling
  • Design of WSUD and drainage infrastructure
  • Project management
  • Engagement and workshop facilitation
  • Time and budget management
  • Mapping
  • Analysis
  • Report writing

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Creativity
  • Proven project management skills
  • Engineering degree (Environmental or Civil) or Science Degree (with Environmental and/or engineering focus)
  • Strong interest in effective and innovative integrated stormwater management objectives
  • Experience in modelling packages such as TUFLOW, MUSIC and 12D
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding service & quality to our clients

The ideal candidate will have the right mix of technical expertise and communication skills to translate our incredibly interesting and technical work into formats that can be understood by our project stakeholders.
