Ryan is a chartered Senior Coastal Engineer at Water Technology, with over 10 years of experience in coastal engineering. Ryan’s work history is split between consulting and working in local government, having previously spent four years at Moreton Bay Regional Council. Ryan’s previous role at Council included managing a portfolio of coastal defence assets consisting of 25km of public seawalls, while also being involved in the management of Northern Moreton Bay and Bribie Island beaches, jetties, boat ramps and outfalls. Ryan’s recent work for Water Technology includes completing numerous regional and local-scale coastal hazard assessments. Ryan has also completed concept design, detailed design and construction supervision for coastal structures, including rock and geotextile bag seawalls, groynes, breakwaters and sand nourishment engineering solutions.
