Gillian graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering specialising in civil engineering with First Class Honours after a previous successful medical career. Gillian is a proactive team member with a passion for the natural environment and water engineering.

Gillian joined Water Technology during her studies as a student engineer providing project support. This experience has exposed her to a range of projects across both private and local government sectors including catchment hydrology / hydraulics, stormwater management, flood impact, risk assessment, and GIS modelling. Gillian has GIS capabilities essential for processing hydraulic results and producing high-quality result mapping and has assisted on projects using TUFLOW and MUSIC.

Gillian’s previous experience as a Podiatrist has given her confidence in managing her time, translating scientific knowledge into accessible language, maintaining client confidentiality, and maintaining accountability within a professional setting.
