After more than 11 years and 500 projects, Innovative Groundwater Solutions joined Water Technology on the 1st December 2024.
Innovative Groundwater Solutions was established in July 2013 by Dr Glenn Harrington.
The focus of the business has been on the provision of high quality science to inform water resources development and integrated water resources management and specifically around groundwater resources.
They have a specialised team (currently 10 people) selected based upon demonstrated expertise and a proven ability to deliver projects to a high standard.
Having worked together on many projects, this tried and proven partnership has been formalised and expanded to use our complementary skills to address some of the greatest environmental challenges of our time.
Water Technology and Innovative Groundwater Solutions share a deep belief in the ability to use our highly technical capabilities in engineering, science, technology and planning to create real change for communities.
The merged team combines Water Technology’s water management expertise with Innovative Groundwater Solutions specialist groundwater knowledge.

By combining scientific insight with clear strategic recommendations, the organisation is able to effectively manage a vast array of surface water, groundwater, waterway, coastal, and natural hazard challenges.
Water Technology is an employee-owned company, managed and operated by our own team of water experts.
Our combined technical expertise spans hydrogeology, hydrology, coastal and marine, geomorphology, environmental planning, natural hazards, and civil and environmental engineering.
