Parvin obtained her Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering in 2008 and subsequently worked in the development of numerical models for a range of marine and riverine applications in Australia and Southeast Asia. Parvin has experience in a variety of coastal and environmental modelling techniques, platforms and approaches, including hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport, advection-dispersion and water quality. The assessment of coastal vulnerability and in adaptation planning for local and state government clients is an integral part of the work Parvin undertakes.
