Water Technology is proud to be involved with the Archerfield Wetland Transformation Project being implemented by Brisbane Sustainability Agency.

Over the next 20 years, the project will completely transform and rehabilitate the Oxley Creek corridor – from Larapinta to the Brisbane River – turning it into an immensely valuable lifestyle, leisure and environmental asset.

We have previously undertaken detailed flood assessments for Stage 1, located on the site of the former Durack Wastewater Treatment Plant, and more recently we have completed a flood impact assessment for the proposed staged revegetation in the Archerfield Wetlands. The first stage of revegetation, of 3.2 hectares, is due to begin shortly (with Greening Australia as a project partner).

We highly recommend exploring the walking tracks and picnic areas around the wetlands, accessible via Bowhill Road and Riviera Court.
