Water Technology has been commissioned by West Gippsland CMA in conjunction with Latrobe City Council and Wellington Shire Council to undertake three flood investigations at Traralgon, Rosedale and Seaspray. We are very excited by this opportunity as each of the towns is subject to different flooding mechanisms and will require different approaches to understanding the flood risk and developing solutions to minimize the risk. Water Technology recently held an inception meeting with CMA, Councils, VIC SES, Bureau of Meteorology and community members to discuss key issues for the three investigations and spent a day in the field inspecting the three sites. The agencies and community representatives involved in these three studies bring a wealth of knowledge to the table and we look forward to working with them on these investigations.
